Creating a CSR (Certificate Signing Request)

The first part of enrolling for your RegistryPro SSL Certificate is to generate a Certificate Signing Request (CSR). CSR generation is wholly dependent on the software you use on your Web server.

RegistryPro certificates are compatible with almost all popular Web server software. If your Web server software does not appear on the list below, please contact with full details of your software, and we will contact you with further instructions.

Please Note: The Common Name field should be the Fully Qualified Domain Name (FQDN) or the Web address for which you plan to use your certificate, e.g., the area of your site you wish customers to connect to using SSL. For example, a RegistryPro certificate issued for smith.law.PRO will not be valid for secure.smith.law.PRO. If the Web address to be used for SSL is secure.smith.law.PRO, ensure that the common name submitted in the CSR is secure.smith.law.PRO.

Installation of your RegistryPro SSL Certificate greatly differs depending on your Web server software. Select your Web server software from the list after reading the following:

General Points to Remember: When you receive your RegistryPro SSL certificate, two other certificates will also be attached to the email. Should they be required, you may download these certificates individually or collectively as a bundled file below. To download these files right click on the file name and select Save Target As.
